About

Art school kid, certified geek.

I studied graphic communications and photography at UW-Oshkosh, then spent the '90s art directing back when "web design" meant tables, spacer GIFs and a lot of optimism.

Geekshop started in 1998 as my freelance studio. The client days are behind me, but the name stuck, and so did the urge to make things.

By day I'm Director of Design & Technology at Weidert Group. By night (and some weekends) I'm building web apps with AI, spinning records and plotting the next trip.
